Lapetus Solar Energy Project

The 100-megawatt Lapetus Solar Energy Project is located on approximately 800 acres in Andrews County, Texas. Project construction was completed at the end of 2019. The energy generated from the Lapetus solar project is being sold under a multiyear power purchase agreement (PPA) and will deliver electricity to ERCOT (Electric Reliability Council of Texas). Brazos Electric Power Cooperative Inc. is purchasing the energy on behalf of CoServ Electric and seven other distribution cooperative members.
