Deriva develops, acquires, owns, and operates grid-scale solar, wind, and storage facilities throughout the United States.
Since 2007, we've grown our business to become one of the nation's top clean energy companies managing a portfolio of wind, solar and battery storage projects across the U.S. Formerly known as Duke Energy Renewables, Deriva was acquired by Brookfield in October 2023.
Grid-Scale Clean Energy
Greenfield Development
Deriva develops greenfield solar, wind, and storage projects throughout the United States ranging from 50 to 500 MW. Our experienced team works to establish site control, manage the permitting and interconnection process, secure offtake and financing, and construct the project.
Acquisitions
Deriva buys pre-construction solar, wind, and storage projects from other clean energy developers. Our team negotiates purchase agreements, and then works to bring projects to commercial operation leveraging our in-house development expertise.
O&M Services
Deriva offers O&M services to third-party renewables operators. Our O&M team works with a network of field technicians and subcontractors to provide top-of-the-line 24/7 system monitoring, routine on-site maintenance, and emergency response nationwide.
